Every a capella group needs their own personal Sports Expert to feel complete, and that football-shaped hole in the OTB heart was recently filled by the sports-reporting bari-bass English-major theater-kid sophomore-newb Walker Carnathan. If you’d asked me to draw you the Venn diagram of Penn athletics experts and Penn arts stars a few weeks ago, I’d have drawn two separate circles, but by golly was I proven wrong! He isn’t really your typical shakespearean English major – this kid can write a sports column SO good that it makes even the most un-sporty person feel so overwhelmingly passionate about Penn athletics, and there’s really no one I’d rather ask to explain football to me for the millionth time (he’s really really nice about it!!). Walker will truly make you question whether he’s got the same amount of hours in a day as you, with the way he goes from starring in a play, hitting the gym, going to class, writing sports roundups, and then still having time in his day to absolutely kill it with OTB. He’ll simultaneously be posting pics from the stands of an Eagles game and pushing DP Sports content through the editing stream, all right after a 3 hour OTB rehearsal — no biggie!! Walker, we are so incredibly happy to have you join our roster this year, and we just know you’re going to kill it on our stage – DP Sports never stops and neither does your talent!!!

I’m a huge sports fan, and serve as one of the sports editors for the Daily Pennsylvanian.
I have three dogs: Astra, Nova, and Fozzie!
